Pure graphite rings are used in all technological fields where high temperatures, aggressive media or a combination thereof are encountered. Here the advantages of graphite are clearly visible. For this reason fixtures, valves, pumps or exhaust systems have been equipped with pure graphite rings for decades.

Today the development of these products continues on. Modern production processes allow the fabrication of various ring geometries. In addition the rings may be equipped with additional accessories, such as stainless steel caps (one side or two sides), impregnation (PTFE or copper paste), or the choice of special graphite foils (such as APX foils for use in temperatures over 450°C).

The following specifications are necessary for producing pure graphite rings:
  • outside diameter (in mm)
  • inside diameter (in mm)
  • height (in mm)
  • density (within a range of 1.2 g/cc to 1.8 g/cc)
  • purity (content of graphite, e.g. 99.85%)

In addition, we also offer gaskets for flanges.
Here we can supply you with gaskets made of all materials that we stamp out ourselves (see Interstanz / Stamping Technology). These are then subsequently equipped with an inner eyelet made of 1.4571 (stainless steel or soft iron). Here every inside diameter is possible, as we manufacture the eyelets in welded or non-welded versions.

The use of a eyelets offers the following advantages:

  • increases the sealing effect
  • increases the stability of the ring
  • no contamination of the medium by the gasket material occurs
  • rupture proof as to UVV
  • CIP cleaning is possible
Gladly we welcome, as a contractor, inserting eyelets on your own gaskets. Simply send us your gaskets, regardless of the material type.

Other graphite products we offer:
  • pure graphite tape
  • spiral wound gaskets
  • camprofile gaskets
  • etc.
